This term in Science, Year 2 have been learning about how sound is made. As part of our learning, we have been exploring vibrations and how different instruments create unique sounds and pitch. On Wednesday afternoon, our year 2 cohort came together for a special musical experience. We had the pleasure of watching Ace UTZ play the didgeridoo and Hugo Frazer play the clap sticks. Ace provided a fantastic demonstration, explaining how sound is produced on a didgeridoo by vibrating your lips together to create a "helicopter" effect. It was a wonderful afternoon, and the students thoroughly enjoyed listening, learning, and engaging with the music.
